Ibiza Wedding Venues. My 5 Favourites

Ibiza is the best place for an unforgettable day. It’s a privilege to work here as a wedding photographer doing what I love. I have lots of couples ask me which are my favourite Ibiza wedding venues. There are just so many! And so many are amazing. So these are my personal favourites… not only for their combination of great service and lovely food but they also guarantee fantastic wedding photography!

My Favourite 5 Ibiza Wedding Venues are:

  • Elixir Ibiza
  • Cas Mila
  • Aiyanna
  • Atzaro & Atzaro Beach
  • Hacienda Na Xamena

Elixir Ibiza, Cala Codolar

Where: Close to the sunset beaches of Cala Conta on Ibiza’s west coast. Elixir is tucked away along a winding track and enjoys its own beach and cove.
Why: One of Ibiza’s only dedicated & exclusive wedding venues, Elixir offers impecable, friendly customer service and has stunning views of the Med and of Es Vedra. This venue is run so smoothly you’ll feel like you’ll never want the day to end! Take a look at their 5* Google Reviews to get more of an insight into why this Ibiza Wedding Venue is so popular.

Cas Mila Ibiza

Where: Perched high above Cala Tarida Beach on Ibiza’s West Coast. Cas Mila is approx 20 mins drive from the hotels of San Antonio Bay and around 40-45 minutes from Playa den Bossa.
Why: Cas Mila has sweeping sea views with gorgeous sunsets and an amazing staircase for the best bridal arrival on the island! This venue isn’t exclusive but has worked hard to provide private areas for all parts of the wedding day, the new rooftop terrace is perfect for the wedding meal and is a great addition to this venue.

Aiyanna Ibiza

Where: On the Beach on Ibiza’s East Coast. Approx 20 min drive from Santa Eulalia.
Why: Aiyanna is beachfront and bold. If you love bright colours and want to be right by the sea then this venue is perfect for you. It’s also family friendly (no cliffs or roads are nearby) and offers a professional and friendly service from the resident staff and planning team.

Aiyanna Wedding Ibiza

Atzaro & Atzaro Beach

Where: Atzaro Agroturismo Hotel is located in the Ibiza Countryside close to San Carlos. Atzaro Beach can be found on Cala Nova Beach in Es Cana.
Why: Atzaro and Atzaro Beach are both beautiful Ibiza Wedding Venues and all the events are run by a very professional team of planners. Atzaro is a hidden gem perfect for lovers of the Ibiza heartland. Ceremonies are held in the pretty garden area or by the stunning pool which is set in its own orange grove. The rest of the day is spent in the grounds of the hotel which are simply beautiful.

Atzaro Beach is set right on Cala Nova Beach and combines rustic charm with a modern feeling. This venue is a touch more laid back than Atzaro but the standard of service is still 5*

Hacienda Na Xamena. San Miguel.

Where: Near San Miguel, set on tumbling cliffs impossibly high above the sea.
Why: Weddings at the Hacienda are simply amazing. Ceremonies take place in their own amphitheatre with uninterrupted sea views. Your guests will probably be speechless for a good part of the day after they first see this. It really is incredible. Weddings here are exclusive and luxurious with each part of the day assigned to a special private part of the hotel. Stunning views come as standard throughout!

Ibiza Wedding Venues What to Consider Before You Book…

Location

Not only does your Ibiza Wedding Venue need to wow you, but you also need to find it! From personal experience there are a fair amount of places which although amazing require lots of map work and sturdy vehicles to get to them. If you are visiting in person (which I recommend) then you should time how long it takes to arrive at each potential venue. Was it difficult to find? Remember your guests will not arrive prepared for a cross-country hike!

Transport Options

No matter how tempted you are to ‘just let everyone get taxis’, it’s never a good idea. Ibiza has a notoriously unreliable taxi system which can’t be pre-booked. This often results in late arrivals which can delay the ceremony and a large number of people stranded at the end of the night. Not good. Therefore your Ibiza wedding venue needs to be accesible by coach or at least mini bus. All professional venues & planners will have excellent transport contacts and be able to easily arrange for you and your group to arrive and leave with zero hassle.

Accessibility

It’s likely you’ll have a mixture of families and older guests at your Ibiza Wedding. Will they be able to move easily around the venue? Is it safe? Whilst a cliff-side stunner might be your dream, would your guests with children feel the same?
Make sure you check where each part of the day will take place and how guests will move between each area.

Ceremony Area

Where is this? Is there shade and will it be peaceful when your ceremony takes place? Some Ibiza Wedding Venues are next to big hotels which can get very lively of an evening. Your viewing might take place in the morning so you may miss how noisy things can get for your ceremony and reception. Be sure to ask about this.

Photo Opportunities

It’s important to know when your wedding photographer will have time to take pictures. If you’re having group shots done with family and friends, when does this usually take place and where. Also it’s essential to know where your couple shoot will be and how much time you’ll have for photos. Is it easy to access the beach if there is one? These are all good things to know about your venue.

Exclusivity
Is your Ibiza Wedding Venue just for you and your guests? It’s good to know in advance what the situation is regarding exclusivity and if you must pay extra to ensure you have the venue to yourselves.

Ceremony Timings

What time will your ceremony take place? Options are usually either a later start, around 6pm with a 1am finish or an early afternoon start with a midnight finish. Your group may include lots of families or be purely you and your mates. Will you want to go on somewhere else afterwards? These are all important things to consider when choosing your Ibiza Wedding Venue.

Venue Audio

Or how loud can we go?! Ibiza has some pretty strict noise laws and a local police force happy to swoop in and shut down a noisy party. Venues with an indoor party area can offer a decent celebration with good levels of music and sometimes until late. Or you may prefer the sand between your toes and an under the stars vibe… if so then be ready for a midnight finish and lower sound levels after 11pm.

Last Words.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you feel like you now have a good grasp of these Ibiza Wedding Venues and I hope one of them will be perfect for you.
You will likely be planning from afar so it’s essential to choose a venue that will suit you both and where you can feel comfortable. Keep your budget firmly in mind and don’t panic if you don’t get your first choice venue, Ibiza has lots more amazing places to offer.
