An Amazing Ibiza Villa Wedding

We are very lucky here in Ibiza, it’s literally bursting with scenery and amazing views. As you can imagine that also goes for our wedding venues. One of the best parts of the job as a photographer is seeing all the fabulous places there are on the Island and being part of amazing days like these. Ibiza really does has something for everyone who is in love

Carly & Mark’s Ibiza villa wedding was no exception. On my first visit to their house we made our way up the windy track from Cala Salada beach, climbing ever higher and finding ourselves surrounded by the Ibiza countryside. From that moment I knew I was going to love this wedding.

The villa itself looked completely at ease in its surroundings built as it was in a very traditional Ibiza style. We eventually arrived and found ourselves tucked right away, off the beaten track ensuring complete privacy. But the best was yet to come. At one end of the garden was the most breathtaking view!

The Ceremony

On the wedding day itself the sun shone brightly and everything looked beautiful. Getting ready took place in one of the big big bedrooms which easily fit Carly and her 2 gorgeous children. Not to mention Mums, hairdressers, makeup artists, me and all the well wishers!

As Carly and Mark had lived and worked in Ibiza for some years they knew a few people who could help out making things look great. So with the stage set and that view shimmering in the background it was time to go!

They had opted for a non-religious blessing carried out by the very experienced Paul Hedley   http://www.blessings-on-ibiza.com/
It was a personalised and very informative ceremony which was followed by very welcome cold drinks and a scrumptious dinner made up of whole roast hog and paella. As the sun went down on a wonderful day we set off to capture some of that amazing light and make the most of our surroundings.
