♥Ibiza Photo Shoot with Lydie, Danny, Nate & Asha ♥
Lydie is someone whom I may never have met, but am so glad I did! We were first introduced through a lovely project I’ve been helping with called Grand Tribe Ibiza. https://grandtribeibiza.com/ This excellent idea is the invention of Nigel Edgecombe, who had the idea of digging a bit further down into Ibiza. On past the usual things you read about, going deeper to find out about all the different residents who make this island so special.
The concept is simple, a Polaroid photo of every participant, an interesting interview and then they recommend the next person. That way we have no idea which way this thing will take us, and we love it! So Lydie came into our lives in exactly this way. Recommended by my good friend Natasha Quitak, social worker for the charity Caritas Ibiza, we got to know Lydie one sunny afternoon in Ibiza town.

Lydie, her husband Danny and their 2 children, Nate (3) and Asha (9) have lived in Ibiza for over 7 years. They are part of the christian organisation 24/7 https://24-7ibiza.com/ and also spend time helping their local homeless & Roma gypsy communities.
We’ve met up a few times since her first interview and Danny has even become my French teacher! So by way of thanks for all those nice coffees and excellent french lessons it was only right I treat them to an Ibiza photo shoot and a morning out on their doorstep, Dalt Vila. Lucky things!
