They stayed at the villa with their closest friends and family in the days leading up to the wedding, turning the celebration into more than just a single day.
By the time the wedding day arrived, everyone already felt completely at home.

A Ceremony on the Terrace at Can Frare
The ceremony took place on the front terrace of the villa, one of the most beautiful spots at Can Frare. Framed by the traditional porch of the finca and surrounded by open countryside, it created a naturally intimate setting for Alice and James to exchange their vows.
Ibiza villa weddings often work so well because the ceremony feels relaxed and personal rather than formal. Guests gathered together on the terrace while the couple stood beneath the porch area, with views stretching across the surrounding countryside.
The ceremony itself was led by Your Day Ibiza celebrant Carly, who created a symbolic ceremony designed around Alice and James’ story.

Poolside Drinks and Portraits Around the Villa
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the poolside terrace beside the villa, where the atmosphere quickly shifted from emotional ceremony to relaxed celebration.
With music playing and drinks flowing, everyone gathered around the pool to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine while catching up with friends and family. Ibiza villa weddings often have this lovely, unhurried feel, guests can move easily between spaces and simply enjoy the surroundings.
The wedding was beautifully planned and styled by Kerry at Love This Ibiza, who created a setting that complemented perfectly the rustic charm of Can Frare while keeping the day relaxed and welcoming.
Dinner, Sunset and an Ibiza Evening to Remember
Dinner took place on a beautiful terraced area on the other side of the villa, giving the evening its own dedicated space away from the ceremony and drinks reception.
One of the things that works so well at Can Frare is how naturally the day can move between different areas of the property. Each part of the celebration has its own setting, the terrace ceremony, the poolside drinks reception, and the dinner terrace. All this helps everything feel seamless and relaxed rather than rushed.
As guests took their seats for dinner, the atmosphere shifted again into that warm Ibiza evening mood. Long conversations, laughter and the first speeches of the night created the kind of moments that make destination weddings feel so special.
Just before the sun dipped below the horizon, Alice and James stepped away for a few minutes to make the most of the Ibiza sunset. With the countryside glowing in soft evening light, it was the perfect moment for a few final portraits before returning to the celebrations.
One of the advantages of getting married at a private finca like Can Frare is that beautiful photo locations are right on the doorstep, so couples don’t need to travel far or disappear for too long.
I worked alongside videographer Ibiza Wedding Films, run by Martin, who I collaborate with regularly. Because we’ve worked together on many weddings and are good friends as well, the whole process feels very easy and relaxed for couples.
Instead of photographers and videographers competing for moments, we work closely together to capture the day naturally while keeping things fun and stress-free.
It meant Alice and James could enjoy time with their guests while still creating a collection of relaxed, natural portraits that reflected the atmosphere of the day.
Back at the dinner terrace, the speeches continued before the evening moved into one of the most fun traditions of the night, a champagne tower that quickly turned into a celebration with everyone gathered around.
From there it was straight into the first dance and the start of the party, with friends and family filling the dance floor as the Ibiza night got underway.
