Prepare to be wowed away and back again! This week I’ve been chatting with Paula who apart from being super helpful and quick on the email reply (always a very good sign) Is also the very knowledgeable events planner at the Hacienda Na Xamena. Now this place is seriously amazing. And it also has the honour of being the very first place in Ibiza where I started out as a nervous and excited wedding photographer all those years ago 🙂 But I digress. I’ve been receiving lots of requests this winter for wedding photography here so being the nosy sort I decided to find out more.
The Hacienda Na Xamena is literally perched high up on a cliff, more of a feeling of exclusive remoteness there is not! As you take the winding road down to the Port of San Miguel you get the sense of being truly into the real Ibiza countryside. The port remains only a short distance away as the road takes a left and  you’re transported up and away and into another world!
The venue itself is a 5* luxury hotel comprising of 77 amazing rooms and suites. The cliff-side rooms are super special and just float in mid-air above the most breathtaking views.
Weddings at the Hacienda are no less amazing. They actually have their own amphitheatre which of course has its own uninterrupted seaviews and is all round amazing! Your guests will probably be speechless for a good part of the day after they first see this. It really is incredible.
After the amphitheatre ceremony you and your guests can then enjoy a private terrace for drinks and canapes. From there it’s on to the dining area to enjoy a personalised menu courtesy of the very best chefs… Then the party gets started.
What else could you ask for?
I’m fortunate enough to have been invited up for a pre-season visit in May which I can not wait for. I’ll be able to get some new photos and reconnect with this place which for me as my 1st ever venue will always be very special. But don’t just take my word for it. Our experience has been nothing short of perfect, they have their own planners who are fantastic. Nothing has been too much to ask and we cannot wait to carry on our journey with them.
